What it is
Coco-Glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant produced by condensation of glucose (from corn starch) with fatty alcohols from coconut oil (C8–C16). Part of the alkyl glucoside (APG) surfactant family. Considered among the gentlest cleansing agents available, with minimal skin irritation potential and a low sensitization rate. Non-ionic (carries no charge). Compatible with all skin types including sensitive, atopic, and infant skin. EWG rates it low concern. Certified natural (ISO 16128) and approved for organic-certified products (Ecocert/COSMOS). Excellent foam quality and biodegradability. Often combined with cocamidopropyl betaine or sodium cocoyl isethionate for complete gentle cleansing systems. Safe at all concentrations in rinse-off applications (up to 15% typical in cleansers).

Why the amount matters, not just the presence
Most ingredient checkers tell you whether something is in the bottle. That is a smaller question than it sounds. Coco-glucoside at 15% and coco-glucoside at a trace level are not the same ingredient in any way that affects your skin.
